As the MAC’s home in the heart of the Quartier des Spectacles is undergoing a major architectural transformation, the MAC has temporarily relocated to Place Ville Marie, another iconic city landmark. While the renovations are being done, the MAC is reaching the public through temporary exhibitions spotlighting exceptional artists and presenting a range of practices.

Alanis Obomsawin: The Children Have to Hear Another Story
The Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal (MAC) presents this major retrospective at the MAC at Place Ville Marie until January 26, 2025. It is a one-of-a-kind opportunity to celebrate more than 60 years of artistic creation by the exceptional Abenaki filmmaker, singer and activist Alanis Obomsawin.
